49ers, Broncos to meet in London

The NFL recently announced that the 49ers and Broncos are set to play in Oct 2010 in the annual NFL European game. Both teams will follow their European tilt with bye weeks. The 49ers are the host team, which means they lose a home game at The Stick. Personally, i'm not a fan of this unless the NFL plans on showcasing the NFL European bowl game, then what is the point in taking a home game away from the hometown crowd?
